The 2019 IDAExpo ® will once again include its two, 2-day training schools for experienced installers. The Residential/ Commercial Sectional and Commercial Rolling/ Rolling Steel Fire Door schools have been attended by thousands since its inception into the event's educational offerings only six years ago. The first 2-day training school - Commercial Rolling / Rolling Steel Fire - was launched in 2013 and was such a huge success that the IDEA launched its Residential/Commercial Sectional training the following year. The 2-day schools are not only for those interested in certification, but also for technicians who want to take advantage of the opportunity to learn from industry professionals. Attending technicians will learn from the best in the industry, as each faculty member is a specialist in the subject field they present. In fact, the combined years of on-the-job experience of the IDEA faculty is well over 100 years! For those interested in certification, the 2-days schools are ideal for exam preparation. The exams take place in the afternoon of the second day. Applying for certification is easy: simply visit dooreducation.com to register. Registration for single certification is available, or take advantage of bundled applications – located at the bottom of the website - which saves $100. Once officially registered, study guides are immediately emailed to the applicant. If a technician already holds one of the certifications in the bundle, companies can still take advantage of bundled pricing by calling the IDEA office at (937) 698-1027 or emailing Class attendance is free to those technicians already fully registered at the IDAExpo, which takes place March 13- 16 in Indianapolis. For those registering ala carte, the class attendance fee is $100 per technician. It is important to note that IDAExpo registration fees are separate from IDEA Certification application fees. The 2-day technician schools run concurrently on March 13-14. Company owners: your technicians deserve this educational opportunity and it is a wise investment for your business. Don't miss the chance to take advantage of these two exceptional programs for your technicians!
