ProductNews SOMMER USA updates radio frequency; includes Rolling Code enabled products VITECTOR Monitored Photo eye Hamilton, NJ: VITECTOR FRABA announces the release of its latest innovation in door safety. The RAY-N is a UL325 monitored photo eye that is well-suited to serve the needs of the door industry. Its adaptable design promotes a wide range of mounting options on most doors and gates, including bracket and fush-mounting. The RAY-N incorporates the proven technology of the OPTOEYE; when the signal between the two eyes is interrupted, the device will communicate with the operator to stop and reverse the door/gate. These sensors have a long range (45 ft), yet are NEMA 1 rated for price-sensitive applications. 84 International Door & Operator Industryâ„¢ SOMMER USA announced today the upcoming release of an updated radio frequency and introduces rolling code enabled products. The new radio frequency product and accessories were available starting Monday, July 29th, 2013. The SOMMER synoris opener, along with all of the available accessories, will use a 310 MHz FM rolling code frequency. The new radio frequency continues to ensure SOMMER customers that the SOMMER synoris opener and radio controlled products offer secure and reliable access to their homes. The new SOMMER synoris openers with 310MHz radio frequencies will still look the same as the previous SOMMER openers. There are two simple ways to check the frequency of the opener is to look at the handheld transmitter; the 310MHz opener transmitters will include the SOMMER USA web address while older opener transmitters will not. Another way to verify the radio frequency is to look at the back of the transmitter; here you will see that the top line of fve lines of text shows the model number which will indicate whether it is 310MHz or 315MHz, look for the "310" numbering in "Model TX03-310" for the most up-to-date radio frequency. Parts and accessories for 315MHz operators will continue to be available to service existing units. For more information please visit www.sommer-usa.com.
