"I am so thankful and blessed to have
received an IDA Scholarship!! I am excited
about what my future holds and the IDA
Scholarship will defnitely help me to achieve my educational
goals. I plan on obtaining a BS in Biology here at the University
of Missouri-Columbia, then entering the UMKC Dental School
upon graduation. I am a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority and a
member of the Pre-Dental Club here at Mizzou. I love participating
in community service and being super active in my school's
activities. Thank you again for choosing me as one of the 2013 IDA
Scholarship recipients!" Allison participated in many community
service projects in high school: City Union Mission
(collecting food and serving a full meal to the homeless
shelter), Hope House, Leukemia Lymphoma Society,
Special Olympics, SAFE Halloween, and others. She
was also a member of National Honor Society,
Spanish Honor Society, National Art Honor
Society, Symphony and Concert Orchestra.
