Clopay ® Introduces Triple Wall Polycarbonate Glazing Option on Commercial Full-View Aluminum Models Clopay is introducing a 16mm (5/8") triple wall polycarbonate glazing option for its commercial Model 902 and 903 doors and two-inch full-vision sections. Polycarbonate panels offer several qualities that make it an attractive alterna- tive to glass for commercial building applications designed to maximize natural daylight transmission indoors like automotive dealerships and repair shops, carwashes, warehouses, greenhouses, chemical facilities, and animal shelters. It is also a good option for coastal business owners concerned about mitigating the effects of high humidity, corrosion, and impact damage from storms. Polycarbonate is durable and lightweight, which signifcantly reduces wear and tear on the door over time, compared to glass. Polycarbonate is virtually indestructible, reducing the risk of damage or break- age from falling ice or hail. The material can also withstand extreme tempera- ture shifts, wind, and building movement without cracking or splitting. Frame colors include: clear, bronze, or black anodized, prefnished white or brown paint, or custom coatings to match your building design with Clopay's new Colorblast® paint system. Inclined Platform Lifts Provide Accessibility in Residential Homes Inclined platform wheelchair lifts give the user the advantage of not having to transfer from the wheelchair to another mode of transportation to ascend or descend the stairs in their home. Most wheelchair lifts can be diffcult to retroft into existing homes because they require a wide, straight staircase with clear landings on both ends, and at least one continuous wall in the staircase with no interruptions such as windows or doors. If the home doesn't meet these requirements, it could be diffcult to fnd an inclined platform lift that might easily be installed. When other inclined platform lifts won't work, it can be assured that Butler Mobility will probably have the solution! Butler Mobility's inclined wheelchair lift does not need a continuous wall for installation. In fact, there is virtually no modifcations needed to a home or staircase to install a Butler lift! Butler's lifts are very easy to install. The lift mounts to the upper and lower stairs, and does not require mounting to the wall. Each unit is custom made, and can accommodate a variety of platform widths and staircase lengths! The unit requires only standard household current and a standard outlet, and all of Butler Mobility's electrical components are UL certifed. For more information, please visit www.butlermobility.com.
