Hollywood-Crawford Door Co. 2011 Top Garage Door Contractor Hollywood-Crawford Door Co. of San Antonio has been named the 2011 top-performing garage door contractor for American Home Shield, a provider of home protection plans. Hollywood-Crawford Door Co., which has answered the garage door needs of residents and businesses in the San Antonio area since 1947, earned a $25,000 bonus for its performance in American Home Shield's 2011 Contractor Quality Bonus program. With a national network of more than 10,000 independent contractors, the American Home Shield program rates and rewards contractors according to customer feedback. The company relies on its contractor network to diagnose and repair system and appliance problems for its 1.4 million customers across the nation. According to owner Randy Oliver, the company has earned such high regard by its desire to take care of the customer. In all, six contractors from across the country each earned a $25,000 bonus from American Home Shield, one from each of the following trade categories: heating and air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, garage door, pool and spa and appliance. Helton Industries Joins FlexiForce Group Frank O. Healy Tribute Frank O. Healy, an active member of the IDA (International Door Association), DASMA (Door & Access Systems Manufactures Association International) and MLA (Mid-America Lumbermans Association) passed away 9/24/11. He was a sales manager for Delden Mfg./Renner Supply Co. for over 30 years, retiring in 1995. Healy played a signifi cant role in making Delden Mfg. & Renner Supply Co. what it is today. He was survived by his wife of 65 years, Katie (since passed); four children, eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. In his free time, he was an adult Boy Scout leader. Ken Kelly, now a Priest at Saint Pius X recalls, "I have good memories of Mr. Healy as an adult Boy Scout leader at St. Agnes Troop 195. He transported us to many a camp out in the mid-1960s. I recall him also working at Miege School Cafeteria in later years, a 'behind-the-scenes' excellent worker. Thoughts and prayers to Mrs. Healy, Kathy, Mike, Chris, Patty." Helton Industries is based in Abbotsford, B.C. and manufac- tures a complete range of hardware and window products for commercial and residential overhead doors, and also operates distribution and installation companies in Western Canada. The company employs 235 people. FlexiForce Group is the largest manufacturer and distributor of overhead door hardware in Europe. With manufacturing and distribution companies in eight countries, Flexi-Force employs 300 people. FlexiForce Group is a division of Assa Abloy En- trance Systems, the Swedish global leader in entry solutions. Helton will become the headquarters for FlexiForce Group's operations in North America and will assume responsibility for FlexiForce's Dixon, Illinois distribution facility. As part of this transaction, Helton's distribution and installation companies in Western Canada, will also become part of the Assa Abloy Entrance Systems. Helton and its affi liated companies will continue to operate with no changes. All staff and employees will continue in their current positions, and all customer and supplier relationships will continue without interruption.
