Amarr Opens Three Door Centers – Including its 75th Amarr Garage Doors has opened its 75th door distribution facility in the Omaha, Nebraska suburb of La Vista. Amarr refers to its distribution facilities as "Door Centers." In the weeks prior to opening the Omaha Door Center, Amarr also opened Door Centers in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Chihuahua, Chihuahua (Mexico). The Omaha Door Center, located at 9931 South 136th Street, Suite 200, in La Vista, has four full-time employees. Cory Dayton serves as general manager of the Omaha Door Center. Dayton is a seven-year veteran of Amarr and served as general manager of the company's Grand Rapids Door Center prior to coming to Omaha. He attended Hamilton Business College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Amarr's Chihuahua Door Center, located at Cipres 1507 in Colonia Granjas, will serve the northern Mexico region surrounding Chihuahua. The Chihuahua Door Center has three full-time employees. Julio de Leon serves as general manager of the Chihuahua Door Center. He has worked with Amarr for 13 years, beginning as an operations assistant in 1999 and later an operations manager. He became general manager of Amarr's Monterrey Door Center in 2006 and will continue in that role as well as managing the Chihuahua Door Center. Amarr's Oklahoma City Door Center, located at 2501 South Vermont Avenue, has three full-time employees. John Schwahn serves as general manager of the Oklahoma City Door Center.
