Jaylene plans on graduating from Washington State University majoring in Communications and specializing in Public Relations. As these four years pass, she wants to be extremely involved in the community, in her sorority, and her school. Jaylene expects to volunteer most of her time at the local animal shelter to start off that goal. She is already enjoying her experience at WSU and can't wait to continue to utilize all the education and life experiences she obtains here and after she graduates. Go Cougs! (Cougars). Thomas Hall Region 7 Sponsor: Valley Overhead Door, Decatur, AL School: The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, AL Currently a sophomore at the University of Alabama, Thomas is carrying a 4.0 GPA and majoring in Accounting. On top of classes, he works full time as a student equipment manager and the "heartbear" for Coach Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide football team. Between organizing equipment, washing clothes, running practices, and games, he easily puts in fi fty hours a week on top of his full load of classes. To say the least, his time in Tuscaloosa has put a new meaning to the words "time management" for him. Thomas is involved in various organizations on campus and also volunteers his time throughout the community to help those in need. He has racked up over 1,200 hours of community service and also serves at the Episcopal Church he attends. Thomas enjoys watching sports, hunting, and spending time with his friends and family. Danielle Hanson Region 5 Sponsor: Overhead Door Co. of Bellingham, Bellingham, WA School: Skagit Valley College, Mount Vernon, WA With a love for dance, traveling, people and photography, Danielle has had the privilege of traveling to Australia, Mexico, Thailand, Japan, Rwanda, and Uganda. She is the daughter of Jack D. Johnson, owner of Overhead Door Co. of Bellingham. She is always giving of herself to those around her and is in her fi rst year of Nursing school. She is excited to be one step closer to her goal of becoming a Registered Nurse with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree through the University of Washington, Bothell. He is a member of multiple honor societies and organizations at the University and enjoys getting involved on campus as well as attending sporting events. He is interested in fi nding a job developing alternative energy sources or creating new materials to help athletes perform on the fi eld. Collin Kidd Industry Sponsor: Re-Source Industries, Fort Worth, TX School: Tarleton State University, Stephenville, TX Biology major, Collin has plans to transfer to Texas A&M; University in his sophomore year. After specializing in orthodontistry, he hopes to open his offi ce under the name Kidd Orthodontics. He looks forward to seeing the perfect smile on his patients' faces. Collin has played the trumpet since sixth grade and has performed with the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps in 2011 and 2012. Collin strives to be like his father as he grows older; he always wants to help and serve people, glorifying God in the process.
