On top of classes, he works full time as a student equipment manager and the "heartbear" for Coach Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide football team. Between organizing equipment, washing clothes, running practices, and games, he easily puts in fi fty hours a week on top of his full load of classes. To say the least, his time in Tuscaloosa has put a new meaning to the words "time management" for him. Thomas is involved in various organizations on campus and also volunteers his time throughout the community to help those in need. He has racked up over 1,200 hours of community service and also serves at the Episcopal Church he attends. Thomas enjoys watching sports, hunting, and spending time with his friends and family.
