What Now? what ? s next The YPN Mission Statement is: "To build a community of young professionals within the IDA to aid in industry advancement through leadership and networking opportunities." All over the world there are opportunities to network and learn, but you must know where to look. If you are an IDA member and/or an IDA affiliate organization, or would simply like the opportunity to learn even more about our industry, take a trip and visit one of the events. • May 25, 2018- The Canadian Door Institute (CDI) annual trade show is in British Columbia, Canada. It will be held at the River Rock Casino in Richmond. From my experience in Philadelphia, it's worth the trip. With fantastic speakers and vendors, it's a great experience and a great opportunity to take and pass your IDEA accreditation and certification • June 14, 2018- The Michigan Door and Operator Dealers Association (MIDODA) will be holding its Classic Golf Tournament at Sheperd's Hollow Golf Course. • July 12-13, 2018- The Central States Door Dealer Association (CSDDA) is celebrating its 20th Anniversary at a Regional Meeting at Grizzly Jack's Grand Bear Resort in North csdda.com) The highlight of the year for the door and access systems industry is the IDAExpo ® - with opportunities to learn new things from experts in our field and others, seeing the newest, latest and greatest products and services available to make our jobs easier and safer, as well as to see and talk with like minds, spirits and friends from all over the world.
