On November 21, 2013, The Science Channel aired an episode of How It's Made that will feature the ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems Albany Mining and Industrial (M&I;) doors. The Albany M&I; doors are made with a tough, high-tensile rubber fabric panel for harsh, industrial environments. The automated doors open incredibly fast for high traffc areas, and offer intuitive design features that increase safety and productivity. The How It's Made television crew spent a day at ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems manufacturing plant in Lawrenceville, Georgia flming the production. After a successful shoot, the producers and writers worked closely with the ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems team to compile the footage and script.
