Fall in Love e with Family 10. Spend More Tim Given human nature and past polls of top New Year's resolutions, there's no reason to believe that the top resolutions for 2013 were much different. Here's where IDA can help any of you who have the above resolutions to succeed in 2013: 1. Lose Weight – Start training now for the 5K Fun Run for Education at Expo 2013 in Nashville (or the Golf Outing or the Bike Ride). 2. Getting Organized – Look for information about how to participate in the next IDA Dealer-FIT program in your e-mailbox soon, and submit your 2012 year-end financials for evaluation by the experts. 3. Spend Less, Save More – Renew your IDA membership and you receive a discount on Expo 2013 registration. Also, check out the Member Benefits section of the IDA website (www.doors.org) to make sure your company is taking advantage of all the cost-savings programs that IDA offers. 4. Enjoy Life to the Fullest – Think about giving back to the industry in which you make your living by volunteering to serve on the IDA Board of Directors or your local affiliate Board of Directors. 5. Staying Fit and Healthy – Vow to walk the entire exhibit hall floor at Expo 2013 in Nashville both Friday AND Saturday, picking up more information from each exhibitor. 6. Learn Something Exciting – Two days of educational programming at Expo 2013 – what more need I say? (Check out the program information in the magazine outsert that accompanied this issue.) 7. Quit Smoking – No smoking allowed in the Opryland Hotel, or the exhibit hall, or the educational sessions at Expo 2013. Mark the dates May 8 – 11 on your calendar and use that as your springboard to better health!
