Sommer Acquires Garage Door Parts and
Hardware Company
SOMMER acquired Doco International, a Dutch-based garage door
hardware and parts company.
One of Europe's leading providers of hardware for industrial and private
doors, Doco offers a wide range of garage door components for the
production of sectional doors, including hinges, fastening elements,
shafts, and frames. Other decorative and specialty items include door
windows, locks, and handles.
Doco will continue to focus on business in Europe, reinforcing
SOMMER's position in the European market.
Doco was founded in 1982 and employs 70 staff. The company's head
offce is located in the Dutch town of Sittard.

purchased the Zip-Roll line of roll-
up type garage door screens from
Francis-Schulze Co. of Russia, Oh.
The new company has moved the
business to neighboring Ft. Loramie,
Oh. A new website introducing this
product line is now under construc-
tion. Production of the product line
has already taken place at the new
location.
