"We've met some great people through IDA, and by meeting industry people at the Expo and here at the Northwest meetings, they have specifc knowledge that has helped us to grow our business," said Linda Anderson. Jim echoed his wife's sentiment: "I still devour the magazine (International Door & Operator Industry) and when I read it, I'm looking for better ways of doing things. That's what associations really are all about; learning from each other and making the industry better by making our businesses better." The ceremony took place as part of NWDOA Regional Conference in October, to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the Association's founding. This statue commemorates the place where the Lewis and Clark Expedition ended. It was here, in Seaside, Oregon, that the volunteer U. S.
