Launches New Monitored
Retro-Refective Photo Eye

Company announces the launch of its newest
Commercial Line accessory – the Monitored Retro-Refective
Photo Eye.
Designed with installer productivity in mind, this labor-saving
photo eye signifcantly reduces photo eye wiring time by
only requiring wiring on one side of an upward acting door.
It is UL325:2010 recognized and approved for use with all UL
Listed Genie commercial operators, including the complete
line of light, medium, standard, and heavy duty models.
The single-sided photo eye works with a polarized refector
that requires no power or wiring. As an added bonus, the
photo eye's heavy-duty, metal shield housing makes it impact
resistant and well suited for commercial door environments.
The Genie monitored retro-refective photo eye, which is
rated for doors up to 35 feet wide, is available with dynamic
2-wire signal output, one of the most common interfaces for
monitored entrapment protection sensors in the door and
gate industry. An LED indicates the alignment of the sensor
and the visible red light technology of the photo eye indi-
cates power and proper operation.
In addition to its high range and speed, the Genie monitored
retro-refective photo eye is also NEMA 4X rated for harsh
environments.
