Overhead Doors is pleased to announce the promotion of Dan Beckley as the Regional Sales Manager for region 1, consisting of Eastern Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Western Maryland. Dan has been the Commercial Sales Manager for C.H.I. for the past two years, with his primary focus on growing the com- mercial sectional and rolling steel product lines nationally. He has also worked in the door indus- try extensively for over 32 years and his product and industry knowledge is sure to be an asset to C.H.I. distributors. C.H.I. Overhead Doors is also pleased to an- nounce the hiring of Joe Clark as the newest Architectural Consultant. He will be responsible for calling on the architectural community and enhancing C.H.I.'s commercial value to distribu- tors. Joe has been working with architects, and in the door industry, for the past 6 years. Prior to that, he served in the Marine Corps for 8 years. We expect Joe will be a signifcant asset for C.H.I. and our customers. Dan Beckley Joe Clark 80 International Door & Operator Industry™ Linear Appoints Kevin Ward Product Line Manager Linear LLC, is proud to announce the appointment of Kevin Ward as product line manager in charge of garage door operators, gate operators, and telephone entry systems. Kevin is a 15 year veteran of Linear, having previously served as engineering manager in the company's Grand Rapids, MI location. Kevin will report to John LaFond, Linear's vice president of integrated systems, who also leads the company's access control strategic business unit (SBU). The SBU's function is to focus management, development and integration of new technologies as Linear evolves the product line with the smart devices and systems of the future. Kevin will be John's main contact in the door operator, gate and telephone entry categories as new products are developed and brought to market. He will also play a key role with training initiatives. Ward's impact is already being realized as he oversees the reinstatement of Linear's gate operator technical training school. 1/24/14 10:56 AM
